CLINICAL THERAPIST
Kayla Utter
Joy Life Counseling is more than a collection of therapists.
MA, LPCC
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who is passionate about helping women, children, and families heal and grow holistically. With over a decade of experience supporting children with ADHD, ASD, PTSD, GAD, and mood challenges, I bring a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to every session.

My practice weaves together CBT, DBT, attachment and developmental theory, play therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to nurture emotional regulation, resilience, and authentic self-connection. I strive to create a compassionate, empowering space that enables healing. I believe that authentic healing happens when we honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

As both a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and an avid yoga practitioner, I value the connection between physical well-being, emotional resilience, and spiritual grounding.
